In 2003, the Higher Education Cultural Roundtable initiated a new program to
fund K-12 "mini-grants" for arts and humanities activities in the Tulsa area.
The membership feels strongly that special cultural activities must continue
to be a part of the students' curriculum, even in times of financial
difficulty.
In 2004, thirteen "mini-grants" were awarded to selected schools and
non-profit organization applicants.
